Little Kennesaw Mountain

The boulders on top of Little Kennesaw Mountain offer a few good problems, with a short, pleasant approach. From I-75 North, exit off on the North 120 Loop. Turn left, crossing over Cobb Parkway (Highway 41). Continue over Church Street, to the old town square in Marietta, Georgia. Turn right on Whitlock Avenue, (across from the Krystal). Follow Whitlock past a shopping center, to Burnt Hickory Road on the right. Proceed down Burnt Hickory Road, into the Kennesaw Memorial Battlefield Park. You will see a large, grassy field on the left and signs for a hiking trail on the right, leading up the hill. Follow this trail about one mile to a prominent boulder. Work your way back towards the car, keeping an eye out for boulders down in the woods on either side of the trail.
