Sandrock

Sandrock is located about 20 miles northeast of Gadsden, Alabama, near the town of Leesburg. From Atlanta, travel north on I-75, to exit #125. Turn left and follow highway 20/411 toward Rome, Georgia. On the outskirts of Rome, veer left, staying on 411, following signs toward Cedartown. After a few miles, turn right on 411/53 to Cave Spring, Georgia. Follow 411 from Cave Spring to Centre, Alabama. Continue through Centre to the small community of Leesburg. Turn right on highway 68 North. Follow 68 up the mountain for 2.6 miles to a small convenience store on the right. Make a hard left turn on County Road 36, across from the store. Go 1.5 miles and turn left onto County Road 70, between two small pastures. Follow this up the mountain (it soon turns into a gravel road), bear right at a fork, and continue past the radio towers to an obvious large parking area.

From Chattanooga or Birmingham, follow I-59 to the Collinsville exit (Hwy. 68) Go east through the town of Collinsville, staying on highway 68. Travel 7.1 miles, and look for a convenience store on the left and County Road 36 on the right. Turn right and follow the directions given above.
