Intro to Gym Climbing Class (12 and up) — During the intensive workshop, participants learn basic climbing techniques, knots, belaying, climbing signals and the proper use of harnesses and other climbing equipment.
Technique I (12 and up) — Technique I focuses on climbing movement and balance — perfect for new climbers looking for a way to get started and for more experienced climbers looking to fine-tune their skills. No previous climbing experience is needed.
Technique II (12 and up) — Technique II builds on the foundation of Technique I, by expanding on movement and balance while also dealing with efficient use of different hold types, grip types, friction and body tension. Climbers should have several months of climbing experience before taking this class.
Intro to Gym Leading (18 and up) — The lead climbing class is designed to teach lead climbing and belay techniques specifically for the indoor gym environment.
Parties — Atlanta Rocks! is a terrific venue for a birthday party (young or old). No prior climbing experience is necessary. (Reservations, Waiver, Day of Party, Goody Bags, Party Invitations)
Groups (10+ Climbers) — Atlanta Rocks! is ideal for exclusive private functions birthday parties, corporate events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, sweet sixteen parties, scouting functions and youth outings. No prior climbing experience is required.
Novice Climb – Novice Climb (one or more climbers) is a two-hour, special supervised program for all ages. No previous climbing experience required.
Team Building Atlanta Rocks! will customize your event to meet your needs by providing as much or as little structure as you desire. A typical program might feature an exciting mix of rock climbing activities which foster cooperation, communication, and teamwork while challenging attendees to achieve goals which may initially seem improbable or impossible.

Atlanta Visitors Bureau Video — The Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau produced a series of TV commercials, collectively entitled, This is our Atlanta, to promote the city of Atlanta. The band, Collective Soul was featured with Atlanta Rocks! as a backdrop.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to provide you the best climbing experience, if you do not know how to belay, please call us for reservations at 404-351-3009. We will be happy to discuss all your climbing options, based upon your experience, at that time. With a reservation, no experience is necessary.
All classes include instruction, climbing time after, shoes, harness and belay device in the course fee. Space is limited, so please call for reservations. Approximately one instructor for every six climbers. Classes are two hours in length.
Daily — weekdays at 7 pm and weekends at 1 pm. We try to be flexible with class times, if these don't work for you, call us.
